Default Cowboy's Epic Score....

Well, Ive decided to expand my racing interests into larger scale RC and a good friend of mine was glad to help out....I bought all of his race gear for gas and electric 1/10th scale racing!

One built 1/10th race on-road (team magic G4)
Enough parts to build another (in process as we type)
Team Xray 1/10th electric carper racer (chassis right now but new super stock Brushless gear waiting to be installed)
Tamiya Formula One 1/10th scale racer
Team accociated TC4 shaft electric chassis (drifting maybe?)
HPI Savage (pure bash truck fun)
3 mini-z's(2 MR02 and MZF1)

Along with all that I have enough setup and race prep equipment to be somewhat competitive as a novice racer and the abiltiy to expand as my ability increases.

All for $1000....easily $5000 worth of gear in this jam packed deal.

Stay tuned for photos and race build reports...Im planning to go to a couple carpet events this winter.

My initial thought was "omg, what does she look like", but RC cars work, too. Good deal you made on all of that. Where do you find the space for all of this stuff?

Right now it's all over the house (including the garage) but it should soon be more organized in my RC section of the office/spare bedroom.

Started my RC hoarding again yesterday and bought a Nova Rossi engine (.12/2.7hp) for my second 1/10th gas chassis that Ive yet to start build on.

I need to start a FS thread to start funding my larger scale RC invasion.

here is my "waste of space" as my wife calls it...the Savage is in a heap of parts in the garage right now so not worth the photo and I have a bag of parts that makes 9/10ths of another Gas Car like the one in the photo.

Team XRay T2

Power system for above car to compete in super stock class

tamiya F1

Team Associated TC4(or 3 not sure)

Team Magic G4S

The shelf with all my stuff....

So my RC collection is now:
1/10 gas monster truck
2x 1/10th gas on road racer
2x 1/10th electric sedan
1/10th electric Formula One
1/10th Rock Crawler
1/18th truck (the Uber-T)
12 mini-z's

As for the 1/10th stuff, I also have a large collection of racing setup equipment not shown:
1/10th Tire warmer
1/10th comm lathe
1/10th motor dyno
1/10th camber and caster guages
setup board
temp sensors for gas truck and on road car
telemetry unit for on road
3 amb transponders
bumpstart box for on road car

Its pretty sick how much gear it all is....all for $1000

So,

I've been getting a collection of slightly used gear to get my racing career off and running...

1.Im just a smidge away from building the second Team magic 1/10th gas on-road...picked up a bunch of new parts off ebay and online stores to fill out the missing requirements plus I'm waiting for a couple digital servos i bought from a member at rctech. When i complete it i'll post some pics.

2. RCtech seems to be a good place to score deals on used gear. I got myself another rx for my Spectrum (and looking to get a couple more) and have either bought and traded for used li-po packs...deals to be had if you know what to look for.

My wife is concerned I'm becoming a hoarder...but I've been selling stuff as well so i dont think it's that bad....yet.

Picked up another 1/10th for my fleet. I bought a tamiya f104 to get into tamiyas TCS class of F1 this summer

I'll have pictures for you soon but imagine a mix of mini-z MR02 and F1 rolled into a much larger package.
