Added this image to the first post. The lighting just caught my eye and made the conept look that much better, IMO. Plus, it's just such a schmexy chassis.

It looks great.

As far as the body goes, are you leaving the Ferrari on it or do you have another body as well?

Donzii, I want your opinion: Would painting your car neon colors such as green or pink with some wacky design throw off the other drivers at all?

Thanks.

Right now it'll stay as the Ferrari because it's a good beater body. Maybe later on I'll buy either an autoscale or a whitebody and paint it.

Tunnel vision. Whenever I'm with a few other guys driving (my local hobby shop has a 1:18th track), the only thing I can focus on is my car. It may be different with these smaller scale cars, but I never notice any one elses car when I'm on the 1:18th tracks. But, other people may be different.

Certainly wasn't a flawless execution, but I like the result. When I get my tripod back I'll have a better executed version of this.

Thoughts?

I'd say front dish rims...other than that, that picture is awesome.

I think the wheel being turned throws it off a bit, that, and the angle. Make it more towards the front and it would look better, imo.

Haven't been on IRC in a while, but what happened to Color0's MR-02 chassis? Might be getting one soon.

Great idea. Definitely get dish wheels. Does anyone know if they make clear ones?

I believe he was refering to dish rims, not chassis pieces. The chassis pieces I have on are a mix of smoked clear grey and blue, however.

Took the MA010 up to our place up north this past weekend to scoot around the new hardwood maple floors. They were installed by the Amish and I must say the work is flawless. Unfortunatly the local hobby shop didn't have any Kyosho foams in stock the night I left, but I did remember halfway up that there was a set of Gen1 Drift Foams in my box.. So, those were thrown on the rims and given a whirl... I must say the MA010 handles these foams a lot better than the EVO Xmod.

I'll have video in a few weeks. Camera died before I could get any good video and I need a little bit more practice before I show you how horrible I am at drifting.
