Fordman's Project Bodies
ok, i have been painting like crazy, trying to get my stuff sold, so here are my bodies. tell me what you think.
f-150 before...  after...  titan #1 before...  after...  titan #2 before...  after...  04 pony before...  after...  more to come...

nice paint jobs. the first titan,black, one was the best paint job and the cobra was the worst out of those 4. still really good paint jobs.

well, the cobra doesnt looks that bad in real life, has some scratches becuz of bad paint (the white) and the black titan needs some touch up. i thought the red one had most improved.

the cobra probably does look better in real life. the black titan needs some touch up and the red titan doesn't look like it needs any. still very nice paint jobs

thnaks, the red one loks great, it was so shiny, cuz i used metallic clear coat on it, and it started sparkling and everything, but yeah, i was very impressed with the outcome of it. not bad for a 24 hour paint job, eh? yeah, i primered it, panted and clear-coated it in 24 hours.

Nice Fordman! My favorite of them all is the Black Titan.

really? well, i thought that the red one would be the most liked, but flat black looks good on that titan. plan on maybe touching it up, not sure, cuz i plan to sell it sometime soon on ebay.

yeh not bad for a 24 hour paint job. i like the red titan the best than the black one the f-150 then the cobra, based on the paint job.

i can agree with that, i really suck at painting, i was just trying to make them look better so i can sell them for more.

rattle can, and it is really not that think, the only one that is is that f-150, and really the mustang.

Why another thread with the same cars?
But take out the lenses of the cars, and then paint. The cobra especially, you can still see the red inside the lense. Plus the masking around such small area is rough. Easier to just take them out, paint the whole car, and then hand detail the lights back in

this is only for my projects, fyi, and i tried taking off the lenses but i didnt want tham to crack so i stopped. all these are proabaly getting sold.

The paint is so thick, it looks like they are made of play-dough. You really need to do prep work on the bodies before you add a new coat of paint. Sand it down until you see the original plastic.

no, i sanded all the way on the blue titan that was crappy and the 04 mustang, i didnt really care abiout the other 2 becuz i just wanted um to look better than they did.

The red Titan is the best, IMO.
But why metallic windows? Gloss black would look waaay better, I think. Nice job on all of 'em - They all turned out a lot better than before.

well, i am not going to go out of my way to fix it, all i am going to do is touch up the titan (black) becuz somebody wants it already, and i could careless about the f-150. this is the third pauint job it has, actually 4, and i dont really care. whoever buys it can do wat they please.

the mustang has way to much paint on it and is starting to lose body lines and the black titan might want to hit it with a second coat because i can still see red in the box rail
