Since I know the answer I'll stay out of it, but you do know there are actually twelve valid words in the English language that can be broken down and produce the same results, just with different words? I'm sure there are probably more, but I only know of twelve.

Tell what happened:

Riddle: A man is lying dead next to a rock in the desert.

He saw a mirage or started halloucinating from lack of water/food and thought the rock was edible. He tried to eat the rock and he cracked/knocked out all of his front teeth. He then either passed out from the pain or choked on the teeth and died.

The dead man is Superman; the rock is Green Kryptonite. He was flying over the desert and was tricked to fly lower towards a water pool, which turned out to be a mirage. He landed next the rock, which is Green Kryptonite, and he died.
