what are you running in your 18T? And how do you know it goes as fast as my 18R? And with this much power, alloy wheels won't slow it down too much. The plastic ones broke when the car rolled doing speed runs up and down the street... Speaking of which does anyone know if the 18T wheels are the same size as the 18R wheels?

Pics? Trophies? Cars/Chassis? If you race, you can't forget to showcase.

EDJ -- Looks great, that LiPo shall suit your needs well. When you get new alloy rims, what are your plans for rubber? Stock, or something new?

i got a pic of my car. Posing with a hot Babe!

Well, that is the closest thing i got to a hot babe. lol

My 18T is running mamba 8000. I've owned an 18R too. The 18R tires are smaller i think. for oil, use 70 Wt front and 40Wt rear. i love this setup. My car blasts down the street and handles great. for my racing stats, go here: http://www.galaxyhobby.net/standings.htm. I'm Jack BTW

hey SI, hows the mamba. should i just but a rc18t and go brushless, or get nitro. i already have a PP, but its a liability. EDJ, it just looks like the tires separated from the rims

definately seperated the tires from the wheels, in fact one of the wheels is now in 3 pieces, it blew apart when the car rolled earlier today. I went to the LHS and picked up some RPM 1:18 wheels, which should be able to handle the repeated abuse they are going to receive and be lighter than alloy. If I can get the wheels mounted I'll try to do a video and see if i can get a good high speed run in.

I butchered the body a while back and added some 1:10 wheels that I know are not going to break on me. Videos of the aftermath:
