those shots are pretty good, that's an interesting flower it would make for some nice macro shots. I'm not sure about what camera you use but I would try using a lower f-stop, it will blur the background more and really enhance the flower. As long as that is the focal point.

the shots were taken in macro mode and it was set at high saturation.

Heres some I took on my Fujifilm Finepix S2000HD. Sorry if one or 2 images are big. Photobucket is being screwy so I have to post 'em like this. Click the pic when it comes up to see full size.

The rest are just pics from upstate. Can you spot the fish in the water pic?

They're not nonsense, some of them are really good but others are just pictures not photography.

yeah the first one is the only one i did for photography, the rest are just to show where it was snapped
edit- and i dont really like the first one because the background has to much clutter should have at least put up a sheet

Default Lens Review Tamron 18-250

I guess this is a good place for equipment reviews

Lens: Tamron DiII AF 18-250 1: 3.6-6.5f for nikon

Haven't really had it out much yet in the field but seems like a very versatile "do all" lens. Small and light so it fits in a smaller bag while mounted to body. Does seem to have some AF issues at telephoto zoom while close to subject, but can focus manually. Will update as I use it more.

at 18mm

Kit lens on body nikkor 18-55mm

Tamron on body compacted and extended

Some sample pictures taken on tripod both pics are from the same distance

18mm

250mm

It's possible that there may just be a corrupt file blocking the whole folder. Try the trial version of PhotoRescue. If that doesn't work, I would suggest formatting the card with your computer rather than the camera to know everything is off. Please note you will lose ALL information on the card when you format it; including pictures, video, notepad files, etc!
