Default acerpower's rc18b

i first got my rc18b about a year ago on ebay for $61 as i recall.

i thought it was just a roller but to my surprise it had a tekin 6800kv brushless motor, and the stock rx just no esc and tx.

i got a castle sidewinder for the esc and upgraded the rx to a futaba fm unit.
along the way i picked up a bunch of shiny goodies for the chassis.

the buggy body wouldn't fit right with the heatsink on the motor, and the motor got hot pretty quick without the heatsink so the body had to go.
i picked up a different kind of buggy body.

i had a few spare xmod light kits so, i hooked it up for night driving.

the buggy body got a little beat up since this car is far from a shelf queen and with the brushless and lipo,it's quite fast so, i picked up this for it's next lid.

i still haven't gotten around to paint it.

Looks good. What LiPo are you running? I've been looking into one for my RC18, but no company seems to make one that would be a nice, snug fit.

Cheers,
Kyle.

what if you cut the buggy body's side to fit the heatsink?

the heat sink was bulging on the top of the body, and not the side. i don't think it would look right if i cut it.

Cheers,
Kyle.
i'm not sure who makes the pack, i got it from ebay last spring.
it's 1900mah 12c. i just did a search on ebay and couldn't find it anymore, which sucks because i could use a spare.
i'm not in to cutting my chassis to fit a battery in, the stock chassis flexes enough as it is.
the new reedy pro 1800mah lipo should be a perfect fit but it's
much pricier than the pack i bought.
