i have been working on this project for about 3 days now, its just hard to keep them a secret

so heres the pics

before i started






started cutting the front bumper



finished the cuts and added some styrene




started bondo work



rear bumper before



started cutting (i need a new rear bumper pic)



side skirt first attempt



final attempt



as it is now




chassis has S2
lower kit
and slammed wheels

future plans are

bearings
chrome slammed wheels
some alloy, but really not much

ahh, nice, a saleen s331 conversion, looks like you're on the right track so far. the bumpers are looking great. keep it up, this should be one sweet truck

thanks, im kind of suprised that you guessed it right, the hardest part is the side skirts

stickers no, look in the back ground of the last pic, saleen decals from the 98 S281 speedster

well, i did make this a while back (minus the rims) when i was still into pixel cars, so i knew all the body lines and everything from that.


plus, how can you mistake a saleen front end, they all have the same kind of vent configuration to them

haha, thats cool, yeah i was looking at my saleen 550 and yeah the front caps are the same

yep a 331, it will be a combo of the sc and regular version, only because i cant find a pic of the hood

it does, this truck will be yellow or red, i got tired of the gulf theme on this truck a while back

really good work...hopefully the final product comes out as planned....can't wait to see it...i also thought about doing a saleen conversion on one of my f-150's

thanks, so far this one has been harder than a model body conversion, its a real pain with all the cutting i have had to do

heres a quick update

Nice bondo work, its coming together really fast. Paint it a color people never really use, like purple, and it'll really stand out.

thanks, purple will not happen, purple has been done

cool cretaion/replica?...cant with to see your final product...a little more molding and sanding and you'll be ready for paint...speaking of, i saw a saleen in gunmetal the other day...pretty tight...good luck with whatever u choose

S331! Nice. I say yellow. Looks nice on them. Nice bondo job on it too.
