lol it was pretty fun and easy mom is still complaining even though there all long gone.

im really trying to keep the body stock, it was made somewhere in the early 1970's and is very rare, not to many are around anymore and since we have almost all the factory parts i think its going to be worth a pretty penny when were done

small update!
got the front end sanded down and getting it ready for paint

im also grinding at some of the major cracks and getting them set for some bondo

one of the more major ones

i'll try and have some more work done tomorrow, but depends how tired i am after sailing tomorrow, suppose to blow really hard and be really cold

anyonw know how to polish aluminum? any really good technics?

and questions, comments, complaints, all welcome!

fml......

well today i did a temp fix on the stud problem. after checking 3 auto parts stores we could not match up the stubs, and i really only need 2 so i took one off each of the front wheels after getting it all put back together i went to put it up, after going down the hill the **** thing lost all power.... after i had to recruit my mom and dad to help push it up the slight hill ti get it in the barn i realize the brake was locking up, not much, but enough to be a PITA... once we got it over the hard part the power came back on.... fml! so as i was backing it in it looses power.... agan! then once we got it in the barn, the power comes back on after wiggling the the f/n/r swith the power comes on... so... oh great... power problems...

btw:for the member on xms that think a electric golf cart that has a battery bank of 6 batteries is light... its not... its a friggin ***** to push...

questions, coments, you know the rest.....

make sure all your connections are tight. Try finding a stud at a trailer and hitch shop.

well, for most ppl the saying is "some doys you the pigeon, some days you the statue"....

for me it goes a little like this..."some days your the statue, but most days your the sponge that cleans the bird **** off the statue".....

yea... remember that front body section that was almost ready for primier? yea... not so much anymore...

and heres a photo of me

fml.... i'd rather not tell the story... but if you want to send me $50 through paypal i'll post it.

my dad: its not worth fixing it
me: well what am i gunna do about the front end
my dad: go buy one off of craigs list, i see body parts go by daily..
me: oh yea.... theres only 500 listing with this body style... maybe there invisable... cause i aint seen 1 the past 7 months i've been looking on craigslist for golfcarts...
my dad: well you have any better ideas?
me: yea, im gunna fix the one i got
my dad: well good luck...

questions, coments, hate mail... etc...

lol no, but there has'nr really been much to post lately, put on bondo, sand, repeat. nothing worth posting so i decided to post that as a joke to see if anyone would say anything lol.

that golf cart was a friends, he knew about the problem but never got around to fix it then one day, boom. the main + didn't have enough room between the #2 batt and the controller.... which created a serious build up of gas which inturn created a nice spark

but glad to see some ppl pay attention

When I saw that picture I was like but then I read on down some more and realized what it really was. Hope you get everything the way you want it. Can't wait to see it finished and put all back together.
