couldn't help myself...bought a scion

so as the story goes, i was driving home from work and the job i was on was far away from where i live...so i was asking where was there a RS around...sooo they told me, i go there and im like 0_0...tons of offroad kits, like 10 scions, 4 hummers and 4 titans, 3 bearing kits, suspension kit for the car...all kinds of useful stuff...so, i already have a titan and a hummer so im like wth, ill pick up a scion...iceman likes scions...so they must be cool...so i get my scion and u get 3 free accessories, behold! exactly 3 freakin metal bearings kits...so i got em...$27 grand total. so im at the counter and im like dude...no scion body kits? nooo, discontinued...so im like yea, all this stuffs discontinied...soo, no scion body kits, like anywhere...nope...so that was the only bad part...i just bought the scion body kit + an entire new scion body for $35 (i felt jacked, but screw it) anyway...this car is going to be a leet drifter project...so far it has the steering/suspension upgrade, stage2 motor (soon to be replaced with maybe a chili), led underbody battery tray thingie, awd, metal bearings, and thats it for now...heres some pics...u ppl know what a scion looks like, but ill put em in here for good measure =P




very, very plain...in fact, it looks like a granny car with those blingin rims on it...but just give me some time...it'll be at least in the top 5 baddest scions on this forum, and one hell of a drifter. i may make a drifting vid with this and the titan this weekend (yup, that truck really can drift) peace out.

I think it would look better if you modified the front clip sot its lower in front and so that the front bumper isnt pushed so far forward. Its distorted compared to a real tC but its a easy fix and i have done it to all my scions and it makes it look way better

hey chinese, is there any chances i can have the headlight lenses and the back bumper of the scion your scrapping for parts? ill pay if needed. but i dont know if i can actually do it, i have to check with mom.

anyway suicide, get your bro in law to paint or whoever it was that painted your Titan and F150

ur right, the front end looks like it wants to go airborne...i bought the body kit on ebay, im just waiting for it to come in...i think im gonna airbrush this one myself (and give iceman a break =P), in fact...tomorrow i may post pics on the outcome...im gonna put the wild bk on it...oh, and as far as drifting a titan...super 33+ electrical tape on the tires =) does wonders

I had a scion,urs is like 10 times better than mine was cuz urz is new and upgrades,cant wait to see the videos and pics...is it goin to be on youtube or some other site ??

i still use the body athough it was chemically melted... and i can't do transactions over the internet... sorry.

Did anyone notice that the tC's front wheel well is incredibly large compared to the rear?

thats what the fornt clip does to it but its nessary if your puing on the wild front bumpr becuasse if you dont the tire wil rub the front bumper.

Really? I noticed that on mine while the body was off the chassis... Weird...

hmmm...since i have a new scion body coming in the mail with the full bodykit, i decided to try my first custom paintjob on the beater body! all i have laid down so far is the basecoat, but its almost flawless...**** airbrush gun splattered a spot onto the passenger side, but its not very noticable
this color is flat black with house of kolor black diamond added into it, i wanted it metallic, but not like bassboat metallic, so here it is







after this base dries im going to try and put some pavo purple paint on it, kinda copy off of bondo and 2 tone it =P hopefully i can pull this off without bothering iceman for his help =) im a lot better at painting real cars than painting xmods cars lmfao

well, i got as far as i could and had a couple of messups, like i put more purple on the hood than i wanted too...it also needs to be color sanded and cleared and i dont have 2K grit paper or clear so...ICEMAN TO THE RESCUE...he's gonna finish it up for me, but this is as far as i got...pavo purple and black diamond...
