Yeah, kinda like that. And like Fordman. He had 3 or 4 cars he was planning to do stuff to and no real progress. And that other guy with the Civic Del Sol...

I'll beat all of you with my CR-V!!

Pretty nice car though. When my mom buys a new car, I'm getting her 1999 Honda CR-V, which is nice. Has a good engine, a B20 I think. I had a 1997 Escort, but we sold it so Mom could buy a newer car, and she's thinking about the Civic.

Swede, the CR-V has a B20Z. It's actually a pretty nice SUV. Drives like car, and has very nice acceleration. I think I floored it too much once though since it got up to 6500 RPM before it went into 2nd.

Yea, CRAVE.

My friends 98 Honda struggles with the A/C on, it's caused it to run rough at low idle plenty of times. Thank god the power windows work.

With no A/C, and light driving my car averages just above 20 mpg now. I can't keep A/C in the system long enough (don't drive often) to see how it effects my car. Leaky A/C system because it sat so long with no A/C, thus some seals dried up.

None of those were really his, they were family vehicles he claimed to be his. All paid for by his family, as he admitted many times.

Lowrideit was the one with the Del Sol, Evo8, and then the 300ZX. Civic guy found the 300ZX, and also it lives near me, I've seen it a few times around town.

Lol.
My car doesn't have power anything, that's how I like it.

With 70mph highway driving, sound system bumping, and the AC on full blast, the car averages around 32mpg. And that's with the big, heavy monster truck wheels. Highest I've been at is 36mpg, but I like to drive the car a bit more. Milage will go up with lighter rims, seeing as these weigh a mere 10.3lbs..

I'm sure my car averages in the upper 20s on the freeway. But you can only accuratly calculate average tanks with out any sort of monitoring system. But, given my car is 18 years old, all original, and 275k miles, it's doing pretty good.

Actually, sweed, smaller wheel/tire combo will net a lower highway MPG, your car will be spinning the engine faster. More RPM per revolution of the tire. And, you really need to get your speedo verified, given it's been through so many tire size differences, I bet it's reading wrong.

Taller tires/gearing will net a higher MPG in most cases. Notice no hybrid or fuel efficient version of a vehicle runs high final drive gears. My truck, if it has the 4.10 (Dana 60 only had 2 ratios, and both are better for towing/power then MPG) then it will be a tank on MPG. I'd wager if I go Wide-open and let those secondaries open up I could watch the fuel gauge fall.

I hear the same stories about Vettes, dummies dump 20k in them then blow the motor the first time they take them to the track. (this is from a friend who works at 21st century muscle cars). You can engineer the greatest car in the world, that doesn't mean Eddie Griffin won't slam it into a wall on turn three, or some yuppy with to much money won't turn off all computer regulations over the space age transmission and blow it up.
This is blowing transmissions using Nissan's launch control feature, to obtain it's uber advertised 3.4 0-60 in a stock car. Not dumping 20k of work and wrongfully driving the car. And that's a 20k transmission in the **** car!

Not to mention tuners have ran into similar problems when trying to make some power out of the car. A Z06 isn't blowing it's Tremec out the rear end to hit 60. Which is why I've stayed with the driver's car mantra, and not the computer's car.

Well right they are taking a feature used for launching and driving around with it on.... They have a computer that converts power front to back and left to right, turning off that regulation, probably going balls out driving it around town to pick up trim...and they are ****ed when they break something? I mean come on, quit crying already.

Rev that Vette up to 9-10K rpms and see what breaks on it. Take anything in the world out of design intent and it is going to break. There is a reason it has paddle shifters.

Even a computer car, needs the driver to be on key, or you'll end up doing something stupid. You can pick and pull whatever detail you want, and exploit every achilles heel of the car, but it is only because you are intimidated by it and it's impact on your baby. To each his own, but remember, everything has a weak spot. Drive your vette in the rain...

dont forget that this is the 1st attempt at a V6 that does what in how many seconds? what was the launch times again? lol

all they have to do is rethink the new transmission on the GTR and make it stonger. Every new car has a flaw does not mean it is ****. but a Dodge?
ive owned many of em and will never go back!! lmao!

nissan owns chysler man, this isnt even a rant or comparison man!
its just the obvious!

If its a 3.0l V6 its a Mitsu which leak like a sive, it could also have 3.3 or a 3.8 which are usually problem free. As far as the skyline goes didn't that recently get an Engine swap? Most shops would replace any gaskets that might need replacing while the engine is out since at that point its the easiest.

Yes...the RB25DET was installed April 08' but do you honestly think they put the time into installing a new HG, oil pump gasket, etc...????? lol
the only thing that was done was a new timing belt and fluids, end of story!
but still...its a 20 year old car that still has nothing for problems such as any dodge ive owned as mentioned above.

im glad they will see them go for good! i just hate everything the word dodge/chrysler stands for.
