Who won?
Btw if the Widow one, kill that sucker. You know they are like really poisonous right? An Airsoft or BB gun can do the trick

The calico spider was all over that widow like flies over a turd...widow had no chance.

Yeah I know. This time of year we have to watch out for black and brown widows around our pool.

Back on topic...that has to be one of the clearest pics from a cell phone I have seen in a while.

BTW...nice Jeep.

The Brownie is an awesome little find, compete with box, flash and manual for $20. The lenses are fogged up on the inside, but the camera works mechanically, and appears to be pretty dirt simple and should be quick to clean.

Even comes with a Kodak (?) flash bulb shield, for incase the bulb explodes.

Things I'd like to find for this is a repair manual of some kind (pretty optional), and where to find flash bulbs and film. Also the manual mentions special C-sized batteries, apparently made for different amounts of flash. Are these still availible, or are regular C batteries acceptable?

The Argus is fully functioning, and is a 100% manual camera. While playing with it I took a series of shots, I think 5, and forgot to wind the film on all of them. :woot: Yeah, it's a weeee bit different than the Minolta!

It came with a leather case too. I love the rangfinder/focus. The dial on the left, and the left most view finder work together. From the back of the camera, you look at the right view finder hole and use the dial to align the two images, and that's how it focuses. I dig the little gear system used for it too, and in general love fully mechanical things, so it should be fun once I learn how to gauge what shutter speed and f-stop to use when taking various photos. It would seem that it uses the same flash bulb as the Brownie, same sockets at least.

My autographed Matt Kenseth 2000 Ford Taurus in the DeWalt paint scheme. 2000 was the year he won Rookie of the Year along with the longest race held that year, the CocaCola 600 at Charlotte; which was also his first NASCAR career win. Probably my most prized possession due to how I got it and what it represents both in NASCAR and to me.

The following eight pictures are of my principals daughters tubing behind our Donzi up on our river. They had a blast, and we tried not to dump them too badly.. Individual specifications (ISO, f/stop & shutter speed) can be found in the captions on my Facebook. These were all shot with the Nikon D2x with the Nikon AF-S VR 70-200mm 1:2.8G.

Went to Tawas, MI and East Tawas, MI and were greeted by thousands of flying rats.. I mean seagulls.

There is a rope swing on the state land on the river which everyone jumps off of. Shot with the D2x and 70-200mm.

Cattail and dragonfly in our backyard at the cottage.

Thanks for looking. Any questions please ask.

Cheers,
Kyle

Love the second picture, Jimmy. Could count the hair if I wanted to.

Just a cake. No, it didn't taste like fish.
It was his 11th B-day (11th Annual Tournament).

Which lens? I'm going to guess 50mm, but not sure if it's the f/1.8 or f/1.4? Also, which body do you have? I can never seem to remember..

Its the f/1.8 on the D90
for a $125 you can't beat the 50mm f/1.8D I have played with the newer f/1.4 with the silent wave motor and it even more awesome, but almost four times the cost.
