you're just jealous that mines faster, cheaper, more reliable, and can still haul 8 foot lumber.

haha, thats the ads for the dodge magnum are like.

its impractical and dumb to get a new car if you the car you already have runs fine and you love it.

these are after paint, but have been sitting out in the rain for a week or so, so they're kinda dirty.

mounting the legacy handbrake handle (one step closer to rear handbrake!)

actually black hides surface imperfections better than most. certainly much better than Rally Blue Pearl or Sedona Red Pearl (the others I'm considering).

Would you do the respray yourself, or have it "proffesionally" done?

A little more quality behind proffesionally done, but a lot more satisfaction with doing it yourself. Wouldn't you say? And you certainly have narrowed it down to the three toughest colors to choose from, those would all look great on that car!

Donzii, since when were DIY paintjobs not good? My dad layed down show-quality paint jobs on the Camaro and El Camino in his garage. Even some pine stripe to seperate the colors of the El Camino.

Make sure you use the really nappy rollers as they leave a better texture in the paint

The guy that lived across the street from my parents repainted his '62 GMC pickup in his drive way using rattlecans and actually had it turn out really good.

I'll be using a self-leveling paint, so as long as it's thinned properly, it doesn't matter what roller is used.

rattle cans are inferior.

Glad to see you got the humor in my comment.

Well not everybody can afford to drop $600-$1000 for a good gun and compressor to paint a car with. Oh and tell all the taggers out there that Rattle cans are inferior. they do a good job for what they were designed and intended to do.
