OK so i went on there and, there is for sure something wrong.

All three of my adaware and spyware blockers found something. my zonealarm found a trojan, and norton found a whole load of things...

Well, if you have crappy IE, then you may have issues. But, everyone with FireFox is having NO issues.

None of my spyware programs have gotten anything.

Like I said before, I can run Sony Vegas (cpu intensive at times) and xmw and my pc runs just fine. If there was a moment to crash with spyware, that would be it

I think its happening to people using IE like texan said. I just tried it with IE and it wouldnt let me access the site, since it detected spyware. But when I use Firefox its fine.

Its rather varied, some with IE have issues, some dont. No one with FireFox has issues.

Theres nothing in the page source, typical when its been hacked in the past, its just ******* turkish script kiddies.

This is what Id like folks to do.

Goto xmw, and see what problems you have. Everyone has spyware programs (atleast I would hope) so even if you did get something, its easy to remove. Post your BROWSER, and SYMPTOMs

ex:
Browser: FireFox
Symptoms: None

Browser: Safari 3 Windows Beta
Symptoms: None

Edit - i also tested it in Firefox and Opera

Browser: Opera
Symptoms: None, but took a very extended amount of time to login.

Browser: Firefox
Symptoms: None

i would expect Safari to be most likely to crash seeing as its still in the beta version and is very likely for bugs and crashes. Hm. It seems that they did this specifically directed to IE, and didnt think that anyone would be using Safari, Opera, Firefox, or anything.

must be a IE directed bug...

I can run in IE fine, maybe a bit slower than FireFox, but its almost always like that.

Those who did get crap, what were the names of these trojans/spyware/loggers that you got, if anything.

Here's a list of SOME of the programs I used at home and at my old workplace (I was a computer technician at one point) that I recommend you take a look at if you're lacking any quality security and malicious content programs.

AVG Anti-Rootkit
AVG Anti-Spyware
Avast! Home Edition (anti-vir, anti-spy, anti-ad, but don't limit to just this)
HiJackThis (be sure you know what you're doing)
SpyEraser
Spybot Search & Destroy
CCleaner (one of the best programs out there)

There's a list of free malicious content programs I recommend. Of course, one isn't going to be that accurate in killing off all your malicious woes, but for normal users, those programs should be enough. Of course, I have others, but those are pay-programs and ones that target specific problems.

If anyone has any specific questions, feel free to PM me.

I would never say that about Spyware, Junkware, Malware. Once you have gotten spyware you can never ever ever be 100% certain the computer is clean. No matter what you run. Nothing is 100% effective. Even after running all the programs REDisFASTER listed plus all the software that is targeted to specific items I still have to manually remove crap.

I'm running IE, Norton and Spysweaper. Not problems here.
But thanks for telling everyone:

Well i picked up Trojans on XMW and some people did too. maybe its the System were running or something. Long time ago I dunno where all these programs came from and it turned out to be a gaming forum I went on occasionally.
