Batterys Very hot! Before use

when i go to run my xmod i put my batterys as normal but the rapidly heat up before i can put the car down any ideas why ???

Sounds like a short.

What is your setup?
What type of batteries?

Check you wire routing if you have added more than 4-cells; like a 5cel or 6cel upgrade.
Could have completed the loop, and batteries are draining by the wires, very quickly.

im only using a standard chassis not changed anything . i got it brand new ... ??

nope, no chance of return they wont take it back because they think ive broke it? doesnt seem right to me... any other ideas of how to fix ??

im sure you could return it and just say it wont power on they probably won't check it.

Otherwise you need to check all the wires and connections in and around the battery tray look for any solder joints that are bridge or anything that you can file down.

If it's from Radioshack, you should at least be able to get an exchange.

My Titan Chassis was stepped on (the whole driving into people and people jump thing), and I got a replacement, within 90-days.

It's printed on the back of the receipt.

no im from the UK and bought this in a shop in derbyshire. it was the last gen 1 they had and i paid 50£ brand new . i have called the shop and he said they cant exchange as they dont have any xmods left .

getting late over here so will check wires and solder tommorow thanks guys
