Default Problem with rear aluminum driveline case

I haven't been able to get my case or rather my motor to work in the new part. Has anyone been having that issue and if so do you have a solution as to how to get it working? I have had this part for months and basicly it's useless cause I can't get it to work with any motors.

yup. I've tried all types of combos. Meaning, stock and aftermarket diffs, main gearing and different gearing. No spacers. It just will not work for me. Im mad because it's a main part that I need to complete my upgrades.

hmm... it could just be a defected part, is it making any type of noise? gears stripping, binding, etc?

yeah sometimes it sounds like it's stripping and other times it won't move.

i have a couple of these and have had no issue with it, i know that getting the spacing jsut right for my liking took a little custom fabricating of small shims. and do you mean its the motor that isnt meshing properyl with the spur gear or is there another issue

pull your side cover off the motor mounting case and see how the pinion is meshing with the spur. if needed make a custom spacer. using folded paper, electrical tape, thin styrene, a cut up motor spacer, etc.

my Evo rear case is ok Pinion to Spur but the spur isn't meshing with the Diff... I think I'll get a new diff and Spur. And by new I mean Atomic rather than stock.
