60/12 gearing, in my opinion. i'd also invest in a good ball differential, can't wait to see some pics of your mini T!

well all my parts are ordered(for now), waiting to here back from MNM on IRC to get back to me about getting a custom lipo pack.

I ended up going with a GPM delrin center ball diff, it sucks it seems its either a delrin center with regular alloy, or plastic center gear with titanium.
eventually ill be getting both and combining the titanium and delrin but for now im gonna save the 25$.

I decided to start out with a 61/12 and 59/12( closest i could find to your recomendation in titanium.
therear end is now complete(order wise) with aluminum or titanium, mamba micro pro 8000kv setup and a spektrum dx2.0 rx/tx. and a new set of street meat tires.

ill post pics as soon as parts start to arrive, as im sure youve all seen a stock mini-t.

also hopefully ill have a full alloy mini-t coming my way already built and bl system with Hs-55 servo which will be going to a 5400kv motor to start and will stay a mini-t instead of a mini-b
WOW i forgot how quickly your bank account can shrink in this hobby

Pics in the first post

Well i can be taken off but it does a good job of keeping dirt and grit out and keeping the rx/esc from sliding around. the Buggy body slips right next to it so it almost seals it.

I had forgotten how cool the Mini-T looked in stock shape...mine is so overbuilt that it looks slightly freakish.

What does mnm have in mind for a li-po pack for you? If you want to develop decent punch with your 5400kv BL system you should find li-po's that are rated at a higher discharge rate than your 25amp esc. You'll keep temperatures (and stress) of both your li-po and BL system on the low end if you have a pack that can really discharge at a high rate.

As an example, my Mini-T has a custom 1400mAh/11.1volt pack that discharges at 25C...that equals 35amp discharge and stays cool through my epic skateboard park bash runs.

this buggy will actually be getting (just came in the mail today) Mamba Micro Pro 8000Kv system, and yes i was thinking the same battery you have 1400mah 11.1v( only becuase thats what you suggested to me a while ago over on IRC)
Also My dx2.0 came today, so its coming along still need to order a few more parts, basically the lipo pack and a few parts i need to try to find to make this buggy chassis work. (i need the alloy parts that come with the gpm carbon fiber chassis, to connect the front part of the chassis and the rear tower stand)

Also i know you were the one that turned my on to Kfactory alloy and i thank you very much. I did a little test today between my Kfactory arms and gpm arms and wow what a difference in strength and the price i paid was unbelievably low.

Arms F and R
F and R arm mounts
R c hubs
F steering block
F c hubs
all for 52$ shipped from uk

Know if only there was some kind of dirt track or rc club to run it at or with ppl. My rc knowledge is still very minimal would be nice to have someone local to run with

NEW PICS in the first post!

as you can see from the pics i switched from the buggy chassis and body back to a truck

Well the truck is almost done, I have a few more parts coming.
included thanks to Cowboy is a 2100mAh/11.1 volt/ 18C discharge with a balance lead and Deans Ultra connector.

Im hoping within a week it will be running

I'll be sending something else in that package as well...looks like you need some oil shocks. Frictions don't cut it with BL power so I'll see if I can refurbish some of my old Losi oil shocks for you.

Awsome! I was just thinking about those last night but my bidget is about gone for this project for now so i appreciate it

Question about wheels, do all or most 1/10th scale sedan wheels use the same mounting system. Like do the adapters for the mini-t fit most 1/10th wheels.

The hex adaptors fit 1/10th sedan wheels but not off road or 1/8th wheels.

As an update for you, your package is ready to drop in the mail tomorrow. The Losi shocks are missing shock ends and a couple spring cups but I figure you can modify parts off your friction shocks to make it work. I tossed in the last of my T springs as well...you should be able to get something togehter that works for your driving.

I'd have to agree with suicidestar...14/60 is a good balance for an 8000kv motor. Depending on the Mamba programming (advanced timing and all that stuff you use your controller for) you might drop a tooth or two on the pinion for regulating temperatures. I run a 15/60 for bashing and the temps don't get anywhere near thermal shutdown but dirt racing is an entirely different situation.

btw, package is on it's way.

Well i placed my last order(hopefully) i ordered a good variety of pinion and main gears( and except for my li-po charger).
Also apparently your not the only one who thought i need oil shocks. After recieving like my 6th package today from atomicmods they included a nice little shock care package. Losi oil shocks and a bottle of 30 and 40 wieght oil.
I guess a 30 care package is nice after just spending about 450$ in a month lol.

@ Cowboy Do you do all your own battery packs from loose cells( basically do you do the soldering)? I found a guy that has a bunch of diff lipos and hes triing to locate (he knows he can get them he just doesnt remember from where) but there 3.6v 2000mah 25c discharge that hopefully i can get ( 70x35x7) but my soldering is absolutly horrible.

Ok well now the the chassis is pretty much complete, besides what im waiting on in the mail, i figured its time to make it look good. I ordered new tires, wheels, and body.
Im hoping these rims will work there 26 mm with a 12mm adapter, so i know my adapters will fit(driven productions 12mm mini-t adapter). bit i noticed on other sites the ones they have 4 mini-t are 24mm. The stock mini-t wheels are also 26 mm arent they?
Tires;

Wheels;

Body;
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXHKD1&P=7

Im thinking about painting the body myself but i would be very limited then. if i can find a painter i will deffinitly be sending this out for a nice custom job.

Well so far ive been building this as more of an onroad/dirt oval truck, so i was thinking it doesnt seem like there would be much to do to switch from on road to offroad for what ever mood im in. I started searching for better off road wheels and ran into these.

http://www.atomicmods.com/Products/T...el__14549.aspx

There losi mini crawler stock rims, there taller then the mini-t wheels but only 22mm wide. So technically they should fit no? i shouldnt run into rubbing problems and i dont have to worry about fitting them under the body cuase they dont.
i think they would do good for the mini-t's offraod look and drivabililty.

I have a couple sets of those, i was just thinking the mini crawler wheels should give it some more it more ground clearance sue to the extra hieght of the crawler tires and wheels
