So i got my evo about 3 weeks ago and since then i havent stopped. It came with the RS AWD, stage 2 motor, suspension, light kit, tire upgrade.

first thing i did was drop it.



Then for the past week i have been getting all my parts in.



-all GPM parts. all i am missing is the front knuckles, front and rear gears which are all ordered and just waiting for them to come in. the aluminum chassis is ordered as well

-lithium ions

-v2.2 board

-chili motor

-power switch bypassed



aluminum wheels too. i also have a set just like this in red coming in too.



and this is how it sits right now waiting for the rest of the parts to come in

its a nice looking car but xmod builds belong in the xmod projects section. pretty good looking though.

Nice lancer, I am in the process of fixin' up myn.
I was wondering, if u don't mind me askin' how much it cost to build a all alluminum chassis like that?

haha im not really sure. i didnt keep track at all. money wasnt an issue so i figured id go all out on this toy.

evo: $10 on CL (came with awd, body kit) everything else it came with has been replaced or not used
chassis (dont have yet) $15 won on ebay
liths: $40
chili motor: $40
aluminum wheels: $15
v2.2 board: $50
steering plate: $7

thats all the stuff i kept prices on. i ordered everything from asiatees pricing was great and i couldnt find any other site that still carried brand new gpm parts

ya i got really lucky to find this xmod pop up on CL. i have 4 gen 1's that i got on CL in NJ for $50. but that was before i got my evo and now im just trying to sell the rest of them off.

There is never any xmods on CL near me. and im trying to decide if i want to try out a mini z or not.

Mini z's are awsome, other than the fact that they cost so much.

just took these pics. since the last set of pictures i added the aluminum chassis, aluminum front and rear gears, and the red wheels.





the only platic pieces i have left on it is the the thing right in the front where the turning servo is. does anyone know if they make that in aluminum? i still have the black wheels and i change them up every once and a while. I also have a set of my green wheels when i feel like drifting around. But with this chili motor it seems whenever i try to turn at all the rear end swings around

that's how both my xmods sit right now. the EVO mod list is a couple posts up. I do plan on switching the lithiums that or on the EVO and put them on the R8 and im going to run a new battery set up in the EVO. i plan on running right around 10 volts through it.

The R8 i am not going to go crazy with. i just want to a decent motor and thats really about it. its going to stay RWD and ill lower it a bit and thats about it.

I also have a 350z gen 1 but i have that up on ebay now so i didnt ven bother putting that on here
