d.i.y. mini tuner crawler motor
my new crawler motor showed up today. great motor, drop in replacement. only hace to solder motor wire mount tabs on, and put on a pinion and go. great torque, little faster than my 4 runner.

I saw one of those on ebay...I really liked the fact that it would just pop in and all....but I didn't like the price....but I guess if it works good its good enough lol.

The diy mini tuner motor is a micro motor with a gearbox fit into a 130 size motor. i looked up the "Sanyo" motor and found it under a "Sanyo Gearbox". To me it looks like there are a couple different gear boxes: 10:1, 50:1, 100:1, 150:1 etc. I don't know exactly which one it is and these has 3mm out put shafts no 2mm. Just my thoughts.
It looks really good, Once i get some of my projects finished, then i will get this motor and possibly test it against the tamiya universal gearbox.
