Default tire question

i need new tires and i found some hard treaded tires on ebay, and i was wondering if i can use them for grip racing.

you can use them and they will last a bit longer than soft or medium compound tires but you will have less grip. If you get these you may need a softer suspension setup depending on what your driving on, you may not even need to change anything at all.

the softer the tire, the more the grip. And if u wanna race. Take a look at kyosho, atomic or GPM tires. U want to race foam or rubber tires? Depends on your track surface.

And those are crappy, they are the tires out of the RS tire kit. If u wanna go with those, atleast get the soft ones aswell and see what fits your preference.

you'd be better off modding your car to use mini-z rim and tires, it will give alot more options of tread options and lots of different compounds to you can mix ant match till you find the best for your driving style

If you want more grip you need softer tires, unless the tread pattern is called 'hard' (which I'm pretty sure its not) then I think those are probably not what you're looking for. Look for tires that are rated in 'degrees', the lower the degree value, the more grip they have.
