I got 8 T-Energy 1000Mah batteries of off eBay for like $10 and they rule! The extra power from them kills the RS rechargeable ones.

At walmart...in the camera section NOT the battery section they have 1000 mah aaa's for 5 bucks (for 4). We have 28 of them and they work great. They sell the same batteries in a set with 4 aa's, 4 aaa's and a charger for like 18 bucks.

I Use Rayovac IC-3's They are amazing batteries. They charge in only 15 mins and hold a charge for longer than any battery ive ever used. You cant buy them in stores anymore though....I dont know why. Ive ordered an extra set just in case anything happens to them. But yea i love them, check ebay. They are kinda pricey but worth it.

normally fast charge kills your run time and decrease your batts life

I use duracell 1000mah and energizer 900mah and I prefer the energizer cause they give a better run time

Cool info, thanks guy.

I'm new to xmods and so I have been wondering about what are the best batteries to get. I'm not ready to upgrade to Lith or do any 5 cell 6 cell mods, so I'm sticking to just regular old NiMH.

I recently purchased some Rayovac Hybrids. They seem to work fairly well. I get a decent run time (compared to alkalines) and they charge fairly fast....

Has anyone purchased the xmods charger and battery set from Radio Shack? I'm just wondering how they are compared to the major brands (ie: durcell, energizer, rayovac).

Household sized nuclear batteries would rock! So long as they didn't rupture.

lol nah but they already made 30 sec charging batts, which will be pretty darn sweet to use on xmods, we can keep playing till the motor burns up
