ill be driving my car and out of nowhere it will stop working, so i have to walk up to it and tap with my foot and then it will go again... help!!!!!!

maybe your wires are loose somewhere, could be the batt tray or the motor

or your just running out of range, replace your 9v in your tx..

Or you motor wire dont connect very good and when you hit a bump they dont touch much.

or you fried the inductors responsible for range

I had a similar problem, and like Joe said, it turned out to be the 9v in the controller....

And shame on you for kicking your xmods, hehehe....

You can try another controller if you have one and see if it stills does it. If it doesn't, then you know that the other controller needs to have it's contacts cleaned.
