Started working on the battery plate

Looks great but you may want to make a tool box or something scale to hide that RX.

yea, been think bout it, maybr just a small lexan on, but see im not gonma use that tx/rx anymore(switching it with my rustler)
so it might be a bit harder, cause its a bit bigger

update on the battery tray
cut it out
not the BEST dremeler out there.. but its not finished.. im gonna smooth out the edges and i need to make it a tiny bit shorter(for wheel clearance)
what broke:
Xmod Tool Set Cheap X-Acto Knife(just threw it away last night, i jabbed the plastic cause i didnt wanna go down and start demeling in the middle of the night)

update:
I finished the original battery plate, but then thought of a better way to mount it, cause the original way, all the weight would be in the back(which i dont want), i started on a new design

this is the new way it will be mounted, just a new style plate

Just a quick tip. You may want to switch to velcro straps or cut slots in the tray to mount the zip ties/velcro straps so the battery or zip ties won't move at all.

i still need 1 more battery strap, i have 1, here are a couple pix of the antenna mounting(yes the rx is gonna stay there[there wont be a zip tie.. lol im using zipe tires for now, in-case i improve on it later], i found a diff way to mount the battery)

as most of you guys know, i sold this old project, but now, another is here
some small (literally) teaser shots of the new project, i would take bigger pix, but my camera.. umm.. took a dump on me LOL

its not the trail ready honcho its the honcho kit(with the alloy links)
i got it used, which is the read reason the front bumper is missing a skid pl8
also the tires are prolinr hammers, they provide awesome grip
