Default 3S LiPo pack question

Alright, down to the drawing tables again, the last part I need for my BL gen1 to be done, the LiPo pack.
I know the cells, but the wiring I am not sure of.

Would I do a regular 2s pack, then use the - wire, solder it to the + tab, and then have the 1st cell's + wire and the 3rd cell's - wire go onto the Dean's Plug?
I think this is the right method, just not sure...don't want to blow anything up...

If i understand you that would put 2 cells in parallel and then those 2 in series with another single cell??? All bad.

Do you really want to go with a 3S battery? Due to the design and shape the pack will have to be, it will cause quite a weight disturbance when placed inside your Xmod. Why don't you split the batteries up and go with a 3S1P? That will give you the needed voltage plus a rating boost.

From what I read in your post this is what you're describing:

Was I correct? If so, that's what you want for a 3S battery; each being 3.7V multiplied by 3 that'll be 11.1V.

Sorry Bart, my description is very confusing.

Donzii, I am mounting 1 LiPo cell and the mamba 25 on the left side of the car and 2 LiPo cells on the right.

I plan on making it 11.1v, using your diagram, the wries just need to be a tad longer to reach from one side of the car to the other.

Donzii, what you mean by 3s1p??
I have a LiPo battery that I don't use for 1/18ths from Yeah Racing, how is one of the cells paralell???
Me confused. lol

Remember, I want the most boost and voltage, I am going to race my dad's IS350 with this beast!

A 3S1P wouldn't be of any benefit to you. Forget I mentioned it.

Lol!
Thanks for the help man, you know, it isn't pleasant to see smoke come out of LiPo's when you're trying to put on a show for people accross the world on Xmod sites.

Just need to order the cells, they are 500mAh each, so would I be getting a 1500mAh battery or 500mAh battery?
I don't care about run times, it costs me 20 bucks to make a pack.

Sorry for the noobish questions.

Series multiplies the voltage but the current stays the same and in parallel the voltage stays the same but the current multiplies.

Series Example:

Parallel Example:

Can't take credit for those, BART. I found them on a website a long time ago, and just kept the image links saved in my favorites. This topic always comes up and they're good informative images to have on hand for such an instance.
