Question Slow On Ground Fast Off Ground

My car is really slow it stalls and at most sometimes goes 2mph but when i take it off the ground and rev it it goes perfectly fine ts like im getting 99% speed and 1% of power and i recently changed motors from a stage 1 to a stage 2 and this happened when i had the stage 1 motor too please help ASAP!!!!!

i had the same thing happen to me the case that covers the gears losen it and then tell me what happens

to help with your origional question. what batteries are you using? if the batteries are low/old, the motor won't have enough torque to move the whole car, but when you lift it up, it does have enough to spin the wheels pretty quickly. if you are using rechargeables, maybe try a different set, and/or recharge them.

Maybe the wires are getting caught in the gears?

Question

it kinda looks like the engine output gear is pressing against the pinion gear too hard could it be i mismatched the pinion gears when changing motors but before ot was happening too what are the chances of me mismatching the pinion gear again.....could this be the problem?

Don't specific pinion gears have specific bevel gears?

yep, I just checked in my stage 1 set. they're noticably different sizes!

I still think it sounds like the batteries.

mabe u have to high of gear pattern or mabe the wrong hear sink in?

Try higher mAh batteries and if its not that then its the motor

Same thing happened to mine but it wasn't the batteries it was the wire from the command logic lights rubbing the wheels. If not this then def. the batteries.
