Well more cells equals more voltage, therefore if you want more speed, put more batteries I don't think it is necessary, some people even just do 2 AA Cells for crawlers.

Getting diyminituner's crawler motor has loads of power for pushing snow. As for the 6 cell it is more speed than anything but it does have some affect on my crawler(helps alot, only car i have a 6 cell) since you are onlying pushing snow...I'd go with some 8/25 gearing, possibly a 6 cell and maybe get a crawler motor for redsxmodder. I have heard they are good. Should be decent speed with loads of power.

As for installing the 6cell, search and it is the same as the car.

cool thanks guys.. the thing is it is gonna be pushing like really light snow liek fluff and some slush. so it would be allitle more momentum. so i guess the 6 cell is ruled out thanks... the second question i have is...is there a way to use liek say a aaa to power the baricade flashing unit. instead of being pluged in

Youd have too get the Leds [ lights ] and a Tripe A battery holder, and connect them, Soldering would be the best way, and hook them into the light bar then, its pretty easy but I dont know what the Flashing lights can handle Volts wise.

you would also need a switch solder some wire to the switch, then solder that to the battery cell. then solder the light wires to the opposite side of the battery cell(positive or negative side, i dont think it matters) and presto! that should do it

You wouldnnt need one, thats why theres a Cell holder, and not just straight cells, Cuase if he didnt want a switch, He could just Remove the battery and the lights go out...

but the light switch is easier(i think) and more professional. and i've had lights blow out/up from the sudden volts of power(i dont know how lol)

id do it for the skyline rather than the truck... you need more speed with the skyline rather than you do with a mudder/crawler truck

Did they Bring the DIY Crawler motor back? As far as I know production of it was stopped until they got the right micro motors.

As for the 6 cell, it might help, but just remember when your putting a strain on the motor, the FETs are gonna get hot. That's how my board got fried...to much hard core drifting. I'm sure pushing snow would increase the chances too with a 6 cell on.

i agree with bulletsrain... be careful you don't fry your FETs .... get some new ones with lower resistance
