Nice but I hate my Pro-Pulse so I moved on. All the gears kept stripping and I knew what I was doing. Never ever did it get ran rough. Unlike my Brushless Micro DT, Mini LST2 Nitro Stampede, Brushless Slash or others. Those get beaten to hell with no problems yet a minor jump with the Pro Pulse destroyed a diff and a crash to the curb at about 5mph caused the esc to smoke up even though it was running cool the whole run. I still have it just because but man I hated my pro-pulse as it started to give me trouble. Good to see you are having luck with them.

I'll take the propule off your hands But Zippo it looks nice so far. I'd like to get a Propulse, just to see if they're worth it, but all my money is going to hobby grade for now so we'll see. But yours looks nice, I like it.

Man I've been trying to get one without much luck.... got a RadioShack gift card with propulse all over it but my local ones are all sold out... did come across this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/MegaTech-ProPulse-Converted-to-Associated-RC18R-ARR_W0QQitemZ260385476749QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_ Control_Vehicles?hash=item260385476749&_trksid=p32 86.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A 1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

But don't think I can afford it at the moment....

Good to see someone has the right idea: purchase extra antenna tubes!

Cheers,

well i was supposed to go run them last night but the guy i was going with backed out. and today its snowing a little but. only a light dusting so far, but its cold and windy, so heres some indoor vids.
propulse from gearguy, 1320 mah lipo pack out of project subawow, 1/10th esc, propulse receiver, and single high torque motor. all that means lots of fun, and quick.

here's how it is all tucked in there, i think im going to see if i can tidy the wires up a little more, but until then here is how she sits.

and being the camera man and driver, i couldnt get too nuts, so here's some short vids of jumps, messing around, and what not.

You must really like these if you keep buying them. How much did that one cost ya? If you ever want to sell one, hit me up.

thanks man, and im enjoying these alot, and it was my most expensive propulse yet, but it was still cheaper than what the brushless setup new is.

yeah they are fast for being a little truck. and an rs product as well.

well i have a dumb question, i actually was reading the destructions for the sidewinder brushless setup, and it says that you shouldnt run lithium until you program the esc for use with lithium. i do plan on getting a castlelink cable anyway, but i dont wanna wait until then if i dont have to. thoughts and ideas?

My only thought is why are you reading my mind? I want to get a pro pulse and run brushless and lipo. But I don't know much about programming, so I am of no useful help.

^^^ lol. this thing is quick, but i have the programming link on the way.

well i got my dual high torque motor setup all put together. its a rwd beast only. the front wheels dont stay on the ground much anyway. well in the short time i was able to run it before i destroyed the bevel gear that drives the diff. 2 to be exact. but i have a steel diff and outdrives on their way so i can finish this one up. and as i said up above the castle link is on its way too. so i will have both of these back up and running by the end of the week. then when i get some more spare money i will get steel diffs and outdrives for the brushless one too. its very, very quick. has low start off torque, so i will get that taken care of hopefully with the castle link.

ok so i ordered a few parts to try out. B1G was having some issues with his, so i ordered 1 steel diff / input gear, 1 set of steel outdrives, and 1 set of steel cvds (swingshafts). these were for my dual high torque motor setup, since i destroyed the stock input gears. for the most part it went together with very little issues. on problem i was having was the diff was unscrewing itself. so i just tightened it to the lock position. same thing, came unscrewed. put some thread locker on it, still unscrewed when i tried it today. so i tightened it once last time, then it stripped the nut out.... there created a little problem. it was a nylock and it did want to come off the shaft.
so after a little coaxing i got it to where the threads were flush with the end of the nut. so after trying and trying and trying i said screw it, got the hammer and punch. came right out, didn't mess anything else up. so i found some other screws i had bought for the xmod. and did away with the spring, tightened it down and now i have my current beast. rwd, steel from the input gear to the cvds, 7.4 v lipo 1320 mah, and custom dual high torque motor setup.
the only problem with it now is keeping the front end on the ground
i also ordered the castle link cable for the brushless propulse. did some tweaking and its all fixed, no more jittering and whatnot. vids of it tomorrow of sunday. so for now heres a video of the dual high torque in the kitchen.

the reason i laughed at the end of the last vid, is if you watch right before that you see the car flying, literally flying, over the camera.
