are decals a good way to go?

hey i recently put a temporary tattoo on my rsx for a graphic and it work out alright but i was wondering is that the best way to go if u can't paint good? i wan't a really awsome looking xmod but can't paint can anyone help me out?

for in experianced painters yes decals are good. but if you are very experienced in painting (like bondo) then painting is usually the best way to go.

i try to do painting first cause it usually looks better (if done right)

so you could do either way you want.

that's how i started out...decals...but i moved up to painting...most painters with experience say, start with something other than spraybrush, but i bought a set and started spraypainting off the bat...read ALL the tuts for painting and study them...especially bondo's...

that's what i did and i'm pretty good at it...i've gone through about 4 different bodies so far and sold 3 of them cuz of how good they turned out...lol...of course everyone won't have the same outcome, but don't doubt yourself...try it...if it doesn't work out, try it again...and again...trial and error...it isn't hard to figure out...i believe you can do it if you really wanted to...and if worst comes to worst...you can have someone to paint it for you...just have fun with it...
