I think i would wire the second motor straight to the board as the first one is...right now the second motor is pulling what available current is left from motor 1. It's not really a big deal at all but you seem like the over technical type as i am so i thought i'd bring it up.

thats how i originally wanted to do it...but of course the original wires werent long enough and i dont have any extra i just cut the stock motor connects off and used the wire.

it sucks to start a project at night when everything is closed.

this may just be me but i think it would work better if you had your 3 sets of wheels equally spaced apart... just me though... looks very interesting... good luck

I think it depends on what he's making. If he's making like a big rig then that's the right set up. If it's moon rover then you're right, he should space them apart.

my girl said the same thing....but i have an modded f-150 flatbed that looks awesome on it ( the bed has wells for all 4 rear tires). i may have to space it further anyways......i want the 2nd rear drive to have independent articulation from the front set. so it looks like i have to make room for a modded wishbone and wishbone u-joint. i dont have a hummer but the wishbone looks alot shorter than the f-150, so i may try 1 of thoses.

thanks...the stock pieces i need are really cheap so i should have this to spec in no time. after playing with it and watching it ride over smaller objects, i just knew the drives needed independent articulation.

I thought about doing something like this, but I couldn't find a WWII halftrack or 6 wheel truck in 1/25 or 1/24 scale for the body. That's what I would build it for. Unfortunately, all the military models are 1/35...
