He is not providing pictures so you know he won't have a video and as for that brushless the rear motor cradle would have to be completely reworked and looking at the picture the only thing you see is one wire back there. If there is a brushless motor on it with the draw it has and the 8 cells it should go about 20 feet before the board fries and it becomes what it was meant to be: a paper weight. And he says that the board only runs on 6 volts as it comes from the factory, correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't a stock evo run 4.8 volts? And the max is 8.2 without any mods or something like that?

the board fries at 8.2v lol, i fried mine with 6 cells at 7.2v... but then again i was driving it non-stop for 2hrs...

The PCB can take up to 10v, yes you can modify it to make it "More Efficient" but it just reduces ohms in certain points. The motor is a Grayson Hobby DC brushless. So if the board fries at 8.2 and he is saying this one runs 9 volts with no mods to the board it fries almost as soon as it starts to move over half throttle. And 8 cells, well that makes for a pretty nasty fire if the cells get any kind of feedback from the board overloading. Can anybody say INSURANCE necessary before you buy? And anyone see his feed back?

Hello, I'm interested in how you managed to get a 8 cell battery pack running in the Xmods Evo chassis. I wouldn't mind buying it if I can get more additional shots of the battery pack, of how it's hooked up.

Also, what kind of aftermarket motor is in it ? Where did you buy the aftermarket gears anyways ? Is this a stock EP ? If so, then wouldn't 9v smoke it easily ? And correct me if I'm wrong, but those tires look like the soft thread tires from the Radioshack upgrades.

Three more things, do you have a body to go with this chassis ? And do you have a running video by chance ? Last one, did you use a dyno or radar gun to get 37mph ?

At this point I doubt he is going to reply to anyone. Notice how all the questions being asked are not showing up at the bottom of the listing as most do when the seller is legit? He certainly won't respond to me anymore. Who knows, he may surprise me and send a picture of bigfoot running this xmod.

I would guess at this point he is mad as h*** anyway because now he knows that there are real xmodders in the world who will call his bluff on some crap that could potentially hurt someone and he can't answer any questions because he knows NOTHING.

Like I said, an 8cell brushless motor on a small, lightweight xmod should go like 60MPH. Looks like a phone battery too. o_O There are plenty of flaws I can point out.

1. Stock EP Cover still on.

2. Antenna can't be installed. Good luck driving it 5 inches.

3. For 500 bucks, you can create three 50MPH+ Xmods.

4. For 200 bucks, a phone battery, missing stock battery clip, ty-wraps, Xmod treads, Stage 1 with a brushless sticker on it, and spray painted gears, its TOTALLY WORTH IT MENG.

5. Seems like the battery is connected to motor terminals.

6. Misc. wanna be wires running around uselessly. (ex. Under the battery, next to gears)

7. XMOD PCB BE FIRING ITZ FIYARZ.

That would be enough to get him banned from ebay for life(well that account anyway) and possibly bought up on charges of discrimination. Sounds pretty mad to me . I think a lot of people who buy xmods off ebay look on forums first to get an idea of what not to buy and I really doubt he is going to sell that thing now and he knows it. Scammer got caught up before some one else did And he is not replying to me at all. I guess I better stop before he tries to say I am harrasing him

Lol think this could be reported to the police? Someone needs to tell this guy that a stock Xmod board can't run brushless, brushless motors use 3 wires (a positive and a negitive and another to tell the motor to swicth poles.
