To put a 180 torque motor you have to have really small tires or a wide axel tut. That is all i know hope this helps.

If you don't want the tires that far out cut the axel stub above the notch thing and put two or more(depends on what your doing/style) 3rd gear unit bushings or the center drive shaft bushings and glue them in between the cut axel stub.

I am doing this for my super swamper tires on my crawler. I might have a tut when i do it. It is a lot easeir than it looks.

Its real easy. If your talking about the evo truck, you just gotta shave the rear end. heres what u have to shave in red:

But then, it might rub at the tire since its longer than a 130. But greate motor for bashing.

Hope that help.

Continuing the off-topic...

If I have the wide axle tut done, the 180 motor would fit if I cut the back of the motor cradle a bit? Where do I cut it?

How much more speed does it have? I'm just looking for balenced speed and torque, but more torque.

Just shave down the corner of it like this

I kinda repeat myself but this picture might be a bit clearer.

The speed shouldn't be too much less than a stock gen1 motor...
But the torque increase should be very visible.
It depends what type of batts you're running, that makes a lot of difference in speed.
