How much did you spend on the lights? I just bought some off Superbrightleds.com for the CST10s running lights, 79 cents a piece plus 5 shipping. Dirt cheap for leds that fight right in the peanut bulb socket.
Ya he has the 4.3 and its quick off the line but after he hits 40 its starts accelerating alot slower. But I know he could easily get me off the line.

Wow your lights were alot cheaper mine were about 30 shipped for about 8 or 9 dash bulbs.

Thats why i prefer to do my own LED wiring.

i can buy 20 LEDs for 5 bucks. Wire them my self. Have it more reliable. The Same Out come.. and Less money Maybe a tad more work. but i feel its worth it.

Ouch, same bulbs as I ordered would have worded too, I'd figure Ford used the little peanut sized bulbs in the cluster as well.

SPR: These just plug right into the socket and it's a done deal. No extra wiring needed. Keeps thing simple and clean.

Ya i probably should have done it that way because theres not really any wires connected it was just the bulb and they are a dirrect fit into the stock light sockets. But I have never seen LEDs that shape and I personally wouldn't trust myself to do it. So the machanic its at is going to do it for me and the good part is he can find parts alot cheaper and only charges 10 dollars an hour for labor so I'm getting like 5 things done for 200 bucks.

I probably should have looked around more but I only checked two places and they didn't have them so I guess I just need to wait longer before I buy them and spend more time looking for them cheaper.

i realise that. but for 30 bucks. not worth it to me. id rather spend 5 bucks and do it my self. plus then i dont have 40 year old wiring running my new lights still.

They simply replace the stock peanut bulb in the socket, and you twist it back in. Same as my cluster, though I'm not using these for the cluster lights yet.

No harder than replacing the regular bulb.

Wow ya next time I plan on buying something I think i'm going to check and see if anyone knows where to get them cheaper. But the sequentials are 160 and thats not that bad. However a guy that works at Texas Instruments with my dad has a website and sells them and my dad could get them cheaper and got the website from him but he only sells them for the 99-04, and 05 and up body styles.

Just like those its got a lifetime warranty as long as you own your car. And they install easy and no modifications needed.

Got back from the mechanic last night now with the following:New radiator, transmission lines, new motor mounts, dash lights installed. However with it sitting outside for 3 weeks straight the bubble on the hood from the engine fire is now gone. So next will be a new hood but which one?
California special hood.

Or this hood but this is alot more expensive.

Here is the current hood after the paint came off

Thats the one I think I like more but with it being fiberglass its will be 400 plus and the california special hood would be 430 with the blinkers and everything.

Cali special, no lights though. Brings back bad flashbacks of the 90s and light up windshield washer sprayers

Well the lights wouldn't be on long just in the turning lane and changing lanes. I like both but this one is a little more subtle since its at the front on the hood and goes in instead of the scoop.

Do the lights face the driver, or the road? Can't tell looks as if they face the driver

Ya they face the driver which seems pretty dumb but it already has the normal blinkers under the headlights and I have liked the california hood for a while so I will probably go with that one. And my local Master auto body won't paint fiberglass hoods.
