Default Micro DT updated!!!

Well, today I got bored so I cut out the windows on my Micro Desert-Truck and glued mesh into them. On both sides. Also a few weeks ago I made a gear-box cover because the original one wouldn't let the bigger gear turn properly. Plus with this one, I can easily spot problems. My diff/tranny is stripped, gotta get that fixed. Now that I have wrote and epic time for the pics.

Almost there....

I found something to keep that antenna up,and it barely weighs anything, those antenna straw things for nitro rc car, hope you know what im talkin bout...
and if you put xmod stock truck springs(stretch the springs a lil bit)and put them in the rear of the micro-D,it will have less bounce in the rear, towhere you dont scratch and screw-up the rear chassie..ive been working on some MIM (make it myself) upgrades, and i still need to get some threaded axles..

I dont realy see why you replaced the plastic windows with mesh, window screen would work, and its lighter than mesh..
Hope you dont think im jacking your thread, sry if you do..

EDIT:Look at my antenna, you see the clear straw thing that my antenna is in??

Mesh just looks sick. Soon, I am going BL with it!!!! My LHS has a great deal for $30 for the Xceleroin BL motor with all of the needed stuff. Then, it'll fly! I don't have a spare straw thingy to use though or spare truck springs. Yes, I knew about all of that. Yea, I need to get some threaded axles too.

I would double check that. Considering the motor and esc go for about $50, then you have your JR sm22 servo ($20), servo saver ($5), and a micro receiver (which can be quite costly).

Yes there is. Check some cheap offbrand brushless for RC aircrafts. This will not work in a land vehicle (no brake) but it is possible to get all of that for ~$30.

Xmodracer1 -- The mesh looks great. I love the micro DT!

Thanks! And yes they do sell it with the BL motor and the other thingy. No thanks snowboi, I can stop at my LHS and get one anytime(ok not really but you get the point) Thanks for the offer though. You know what, I don't really care, I do what I want to my Micro DT and thats final. I don't care how much $ it costs. The DT is my favorite of them all, most realistic. And for those of you who think the DT can't pull wheelies stock and do backflips, you are wrong!

It depends. I am going to a different hobby store tomorrow I think, the place my parents got mine. I did some extreme bashing last week, expect the video on youtube and then on here in about an hour.

Sorry for the double post. I found out the problem. My slipper is too loose. And snowboi, this mesh is from a case, it is extremely light, plus I noticed a difference in motor temperature with the mesh when I used it outside today. The guys at my LHS were surprised at how good it looked. One of them asked me where I got this particular mesh from. I got it from an old Nintendo DS Case.
