New member with first XMODS

Hello, My name is Alex and I have been reading on this forum for the past few weeks and it had inspired me to pick up an xmods of my own. I recently purchased this one. It's a gen 1 skyline. Pretty much completely stock with the exception of some stage 2 motors. I plan on doing all GPM upgrades as well as a board swap. The body is pretty rough but I think I might order the AE86 body for the mini Z. Anyways here it is.

Can't forget awd upgrade as well. Plan on doing lots of drifting..

Bought It on Ebay, untested and molested but, It works surprisingly well. No steering jitters or anything. Maybe you saw it? It had some horrid red flames on it that I removed as soon as I got it.

Need to get rid of that black line also. I will probably paint the whole thing.

Hahah well you could get gen 1 bearings ob ebay for pretty cheap too.

Threw some paint on the wheels, got rid of the black line that previous owner painted down the center of the car and started on the front bumper since the lip was broken . Still plan on painting it or ordering a new body but for now I'll just work with what I have.

Tell me about it. Prices on ebay are pretty much double what parts cost new. The awd kit is gonna cost me 40 bucks. Think I'll just try to find a parts car with the awd already installed. Got the bumpers, side skirts and wing painted. Body is slammed.

Yeah maybe someone should contact a chinese company to make them again

That'd be the day. Even if it was something similar with interchangeable parts with the xmods.
