So it is somewhat different.....but not by much....hmm....
I don't like the fact that it looks like the frequency cannot be changed.....but we will just have to see.

Looks like the knuckles are different.

The missing crystal could possibly be a 2.2G system versus a 27Mhz system. (If we are lucky) If you look at the newest Mini-Zs, they have them.

And the gold is possibly just a gold solder rather than lead.

It's 2.4GHz, and no, these Xmods do not have a 2.4GHz system.
I'd pop out the PCB cover and look under.

The "Gold" on the motor, is not gold, nor is it solder.
It's hot glue to prevent wire disconnections due to poor soldering and time.

The new casing is interesting. I don't like the ideas of plastic holding everything in but if that's what RS is giving us, we'll have to deal with it.

I would like to see better pictures.

it does look like glue..but as far as pics they are from his phone....if i get mine soon i will use my macro camera and get close ups..i think agent is gonna get better pics

well.... i got nothing mabye they have WAY improved performance like a mini-z maybe or not o well and i dont like the plastic holdig everything

Yeah, idk. Its hard to tell from the crappy pictures. I'll just wait till tomorrow when I buy one.

idk how you think they made more bodies, maybe you know something i dont, but 2 of the bodies, the 65 stang and the vette, are the same molds as the gen1 bodies

i dont know that they did but judging from the pics.....nuthings diffrent just the bodys..i mean its still and evo chassi but its looks like all we have to look forword to is the new bodys lol thats what i ment

The stang is the only body thats the same as the gen 1 the corvette is a different shell because its a different year model so its a newer body type.

It looks as if the crystal is inside the cover, rather than outside.

Not 100% exact to the looks. I'd say a few minor things are different, but I can't be sure until I have one.
