You would have to take out all the electronics and replace it with a new recever and servo usiing the mamba ESC and li-po cells to really see a difference in the speed. But its so fast you cant even control it going close to 80mph and ull need Gpm to keep it from breaking tha parts so ur talking about $1000.
Mamba - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJFY5&P=ML
Receiver - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBJ76&P=7
Transmitter - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFVD0&P=7
Servo - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXTX42&P=ML

With that Mamba it would be close to 90 or 100 mph not sure.

If anyone puts that in an XMOD - I would LOVE to see it.

I am sure with some creative engineering, you can do it. That would be a blast and hard to control.

I would think you could as long as it fits and you can redo the wiring so it works. But it would suck up a bunch of power.

With the way the chassis are designed, I could see it beeing easier to mod it into a Gen-1 vice an EVO.
