September 2008 COTM; "Open Class" Competition Entry Thread:

Welcome to the September 2008 Car of the Month (COTM) competition! We will be switching it up again this month with an open class competition, so go ahead and enter your custom small scale RC cars and Trucks....

Please make sure you read all of the rules. Any member caught not following a competition rule will be excluded from the competiton; both vote and entry.

Any questions you may have about the September 2008 COTM competition must be asked in the Discussion Thread. Any questions asked in this thread will be deleted. This is the entry thread only, no discussion.

Rules for this Competition:

1. Must be a small scale RC car
2. There must be a non-stock upgrade on your entry.

Entry Rules:

Entries are due by: September 26th by 9:00PM EST!

1. Entrants are required to have been a member of Xmodsource.com for one month prior to the announcement of this month's competition.
2. When making a submission, you are required to submit six images. No more than seven images are allowed. One of your images must be an image of the chassis. Links to video and other pictures are allowed.
3. All members are limited to one entry.
4. A list of upgrades is required during submission.

Voting Rules:

1. A voting thread will be created on the 26th of September and the voting thread will be closed on the 1st of October. Entries must be in by the 26th of September at 9:00PM EST! Late entries are not allowed into the competition; you must be on time!
2. Voting is open to anyone who has been a member of Xmodsource.com for more than a thirty-five day period.
3. Voting is watched very closely. Votes cast for ones own Xmod will be void, as well as members under that thirty-five day period will not be counted. Do not vote for yourself and do not make seperate accounts to vote for yourself.

dodge ram srt 10












here is my dodge ram srt 10. full interior, engine, racing stripes, on the xtruck blacked out truck chassis. chassis paint in satin black fusion paint. rims are custom with some super soft meaty tires. body is painted sapphire with metal flake. has a custom net tailgate out of electrical tape. silver trim around tail lights, the grill is silver. white racing stripes.
and chassis mods
2x2 fet stack
lith ion,
full ball bearing
green radline motor
8-25 gearing
composite 4wd gears, and 3rd units
off road kit with yellow springs
locked articulation because it would pop wheelies but from the torque it would rotate at the articulation piece and pull the left front up higher then the right and roll it.

This is my 1970 Boss 429, my first completed project that i've built. All of the RC parts are stock but will eventually be upgraded
