Just use some sort of tire blocks and/or lock up the drive train.
No, you'd probably see hand blur in there if I took the body off with the shutter open. It's two seperate pictures layered together in GIMP. One picture exposed for the black tire/rim with the body off and one exposed for the while body with the body on. Chassis picture as the bottom layer with the body picture layered on top at 50% opacity.

I went to Houghton Lake, MI yesterday hear are some pics

I also tried out a new technique some turned out but with more practice they should start looking quite nice. A good book I've been reading is called Mood Ambience and dramatic effects by Joseph Meehan its published by Kodak. Its reads very easy and has really given me some good ideas an explained things I sort of already new, but in different words so it helped me understand stuff a little better.

please lend me some constructive
criticism

the blond in the pink shirt is mine the other are friend's nieces.

The ones that show motion are a slow shutter speed while I'm attempting to fallow the girls with my camera at the same speed they are moving. I think I was using a 1/16 shutter speed.

Reading about double exposure on a Nikon D100 as I type. Finally found my manual and decided to read it.

I was taking pics for my new hobby (you'll see soon enough, when I post it in the O-T section), when I remembered the photography thread.

Some more playing around with shutter speeds. Trying to capture the motion of the flowing water.
