Trying my hand at Photoshop since I just got CS4. Certainly not the greatest, but it's a start and I'm trying to learn as much as I can by trying different things.

Highest resolution Photobucket can handle: Full Resolution. The original (on my desktop) is 2560x1440px (background size for my desktop).

Now that I know this thread is here, time to post a few photos Many moons ago I used to be a professional landscape and wildlife photographer, but now I just do it for fun. All images are copyrighted. This is a random selection from my gallery.

A snake I managed to **** off for a better photo

Nothing makes you feel so alive like standing in a thunderstorm touching a camera attached to a metal tripod.

Thanks I have done a lot of things people would consider....stupid for a photo. The gods know how many times I have been bitten by different animals.

I have to say the worst injury was when I was sent on assignment to a ski resort in Michigan, and to get the best shot of a snowboarder I knelt down in front of the ramp. Lets just say the back of a snowboard slamming into your skull as the snowboarder starts a flip at 30+ mph doesn't feel good :P I did learn after the CAT scan that my shots turned out Sometimes I miss those days, but I wouldn't trade my family for the world.

some pics I took after some rain. The action shot is something I want help on. I have a 10mp Kodak point and shoot, and I want something a little more SLR-ish...but until that time, I have to stick with it. What I want to do is take a moving car pic where the body is focused, but the wheels and background show the motion...It's a stretch but I want something like this,
any help?

Well see my camera has a setting called "Panning Shot" which is what I gad it on when I took that...It purposely blurs the subject to make it look more in movement...kind of exagerates the already present effect...Which, is cool...(reminds me of the F&F eclipse scene, lol) but it's pretty badly out of focus...I've read up on it and most people use PS to edit the "blur" look in...but I just cant seem to find anything on my camera thats comparable.

*** I figure I broke the image size rules- dont want to ruin them on photobucket... help on resize? Thanks.
Even Though I never contribute here, I figure I should add a little bit of my photography. Either taken with a 3mp Panasonic or a Canon Rebel XTi

Smaller shells are! Singles and Doubles can be very difficult to set(balance) The one in the photo is a Vespoli V1 4+(4 rowers+coxswain) Those and 8+'s are not all that hard to set. I spend around 18-20 hours a week in them.
