Ebay Air Horn! 20 bucks and loud as hell!! My friend wanted one on her subaru so she could show up the Hella Super Tones. Man that thing was sweet for only 20 bucks lol.

The fogs hardly look OEM to me... look like cheap 20 dollar fogs. but when mounted deep into the bumper and straight i think they will look decent at least.

Thats gotta be one of the cleanest CRX's ive ever seen. One of the few hondas i like. Whens the Nice exhaust going on. glad your ditching the ricer cannon lol. Black FTW! (ignore hummer, your doing the right thing. i couldnt agree more)

i hope to be seeing something like this in the front end of that car very soon!

The ones I have are smaller and not as bright, but they're not that far off. I'll find a few pictures of the OEM lights over the next few days when I get time, and I plan on mounting them this weekend, otherwise it will be another two weeks....

Thanks. I've seen cleaner for not alot more money, but it's getting there. I thought about going turbo with this car, but for the price of the build, I could be rolling a nice Nitrous Set-Up and have money left for other things...

Turbo Build (Make Believe):
$250 -- Intercooler
$150 -- Piping
$500 -- T3/T4 Turbo
$350 -- Mini-Ram Manifold
$300 -- Fuel Pump, Injectors
$450 -- Tuning Products
$600 -- Pistons/Rods
$150 -- Cam Shaft
$350 -- Exhust

That turbo build would hold 250hp+, be tuned good and right, and would cost about $3100. It's a bit high, but I have room to grow on there. Not it does not include the clutch or the proper engine (D16Z6/Y8). Or a good transmission...

Nitrous Build (Make Believe):
$600 -- Nitrous Kit
$600 -- Pistons/Rods
$150 -- Cam Shaft
$300 -- Exhust
$500 -- Tuning

$2200 for a ~200hp+ Nitrous set-up might seem slightly overkill, but the engine (who's price isn't factored in) would be reliable and last. Then there is also bottle re-fills, but I wouldn't be spraying all the time. Just every once in a while. Not completely correct, but I'm lazy right now...

TI_25 once refered my CRX as a monster truck becuase of the 17" Rims that where on it at the time.
Possibly nitrous sometime in the future.

That, and realistically his car can fit in the bed of my CST10.

You aught to be different and supercharge it like Cowboy's SiR! N20 and Turbos are everywhere.

I think it can...

And the Jackson Supercharger only produces like 180hp to the wheels. Nitrous will produce 200hp+ at the wheels and not have the parasitic drag or cut gas milage. And I like it more. Instant torque.

You can play with your *** in someone else's thread.

Yup.
Generally looked down upon by the community. Way out of my budget and I have other things that sort of money could be spent on. Like say, I K-Swap.

So, I'm on Christmas break. Doesn't look like I'll have any free time, so I don't know when I'll get all this done. It's gone by a long haul. Was gonna do the Fog Lights this morning, but couldn't, so that's 2mro morning.. Then depending on Money, light show starts on Friday... But here's the current to-do list for the car:
  • Paint Muffler Silencer
  • Coat Cundercariage
  • CRX Logo Light-Up
  • iPod Mount
  • Rear Cargo Cover
  • Panda-fy Roof
  • Fix Squeaky Hatch
  • Seal Roof Leak
  • Interior and Exterior Lighting

The last thing on the list is the biggest project. I'm planning on putting LED light strips on the sides of the seats, small neon bars in the front, neon bars bellow the dash, LED Dome lights (blue), white lights in the Rear View Mirror (shinning down), for the Gauge Cluster lights (in blue or white, not sure), behind the climate control, and in the glove box...

All the wiring for that should prove plenty fun. Updates to come through the next two weeks.

Fellow Honda brethen speaking...

If you say you aren't good with cars that much. Why would you waste your time trying to light the inside of it up and make it like your going to the dance floor or something. Keep it clean, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a car.

Fix those leaks. Fix the things that bother you the most. Dont ruin a good looking CRX just for it to look "cool"

Save some of that money from the lighting and all that, just keep saving and get you a later model LS motor,a CRV motor pair it with a good trannt and that car will be a whole alot better. Like the guy on here THE EDJ says I don't care if your car looks good. Mine is faster!

IMO though...

so is H4 banned permanently?
he still owes me 2 motor cradles
anyways, the crx is looking better now.
hm... why not a turbo?
you'd never have to refill it, and in the long run, it'd cost less...
i'd go turbo and save the nitrous for sometime in the future.
and interior lighting is soooo rice.
a little is fine and looks good, but not if you're trying to make the inside light up like heaven. that's kinda too much
btw have you seen a nossed up smart car?
i saw one at a car show and it was hilarious!

No money. It depends what I do for college. I might do a small Turbo Set-Up that puts down ~200hp to the wheels in the future, but I don't know. Cost wise, the Nitrous is about $1000 cheaper at the same power level, but it's way out in the future....

It's not gonna be super-duper bright, just enough to light the interior so I can see. I'm not into rice-tastic stuff (even if my sigs says...), but the interior will come out clean..

I'm pretty decent with Soldering and Electronics. Easy and cheap ($40 will do lights for the entire car, but I'm not that cheap), and it looks good. And there's virtually no lighting inside the car.....

4x 10" LED Strip = $40
4x 12" Neon Bar = $40
50x Assorted Blue/White LED's = $25

And that would be plenty bright and cover it. But it'll be done in stages.

For the motor, I'll Mini-Me it in the future and wait for the engine to go out. I'm swapping the Tranny to a Si trim one before anything, cause the bearings are going out already....

*Not a Double Post*

So, today I got the Fog Lights in. Five bolts where frozen, torch got them loose. Then I had fun cutting away at the bumper to get the light to fit, 2mro I go get sheet styrene to put behind the lights. Bumper didn't want to go back on at all, and that took some force to do, and wiring didn't want to go together, but it all came together in the end. Looks pretty good too!

More updates in the next few days, see the list above for what to expect.
Enjoy.

Washed the car and waxed it. Did the rims up, cleaned the interior and took the girl (car and gf) for a ride. Did a mini-shoot with the iphone. Not a bad camera...

I'm really liking the white wheels.

Instead of going the turbo way, I'd say ITB's are the way to go. Sure, they're hella expensive, but you're getting great HP/$ and you would be pretty sure to gain some respect in the non-ricer community.

Thanks... I really like how these wheels have a bit of a lip on them.

I've been thinking about going with a Direct Port Nitrous set up, possibly on ITB's... But then I got accepted to University of Florida (Holy Crap Batman) and now I'm not sure about anything... They don't make ITB's for this car, so people custom make them. After the cost for the actual TB's and the injectors, it's fairly cheap to make. Just a bit of fabrication and it's done...

Tuning on the other hand isn't all that easy.... And then if I went ITB/Nitrous, this car would haul ***... But engine swaps first..
