i heard that a stage 1 has alot of toruqe but i forgot wat gearing you would put on

Stage 1's don't have that much torque.... thats why they are a stage one, however assuming we are talking evo motors if you use any of the orange gear setups you can increase its torque significantly.

stage one does have more torque than stage 2. put it with the 8 25 gearing to have the most torque with a stage 1.

Right but there are better stock motors that the stage 1 with more torque which is what I guess my point was If you don't have the gears already and are going to buy them for a stage 1 why not just put a radline motor instead.....

yeah there are a lot better motors that are fet safe. and radlines are cheap in price but a very good motor.

im making a car to race, i have stage 2 im runing 8-25 is that the best combination for it?

10-23 then.

8-25 is giving you way more torque than needed in a race car.
