Run times are on the short side, but that's to be expected. I hit my foot and knocked the dogbone loose so I had to learn a little about taking it apart, which is always good. The truck flips over alot on small jumps in the grass, but it's fun to hit a tree root and keep the front wheels up for a looong distance and still go hella fast. Can't wait till my deans plugs come in, was lookin for traxxas but I couldn't find em. Would the 4wd be okay if I ran slicks in back and knobies in front? I know you can't do it with foams/rubber.
A shot of everything. I used some strong velcro to hold the esc down and as well with the lipo. It kept falling out and I had to find a fix. I kinda got a phobia of exploding lipos now lol. Before Sidewinder After Sidewinder, haha. Any suggestions on longer lasting on/offroad tires? (mostly dirt/grass/pavement) Last edited by babybat; 07-02-2009 at 12:06 AM.. |

I like the Losi Street meats on my Late model. So far they have lasted i am running a 5400kv Micro Pro with 6cell NIMH. I have 2 races and numerous test runs in them and they hold up fine for now.
Great choice. You will love it. Have fun and Nice install. Might want to clean up the wiring a bit. Good luck with it. |
