i just got myself a honda civic 2000 and i put a body kit and stage 2 motor and springs .. now the car is still not that fast .. how do i make it faster and also am i using bad batt .. wut kinda batt should i use

Well try upgrading to the rechargable batterys, and u might also want to get the ball bering kit (Wide track and the normal ones), and if you know how and what kind to get, try oiling the joints up a little, don't put to much cause then you will attract dust and junk, and then u will have to take it apart and clean it. ANd thats not fun.

1.Rechargeable Batterys
2.Ball Berings
3.grease it a little
4.put the throttle button on "High"


Thats the stuff u need to go a little faster, if you want to go FAST go on ebay, or seach around this site, either one is good.

just go to other sites and stuff and buy alloy, hot motor, v2.2, and lithium and your car will go hella fst

if you want it to go fast add cells either 2 if you want to be like :O or 1 if you want to be like or you could add liths which would make you be like <+>_<+> but its be stressful so you'd be like.............................................. ....................O

a cell is a battery just buy a double AAA holer connect to your other battery wires and you have a six cell.

there are i think 3 types of extra cells. first, your car is at 4 cells right now since it can hold 4 batteries. if you have a 5 cell you can add one more extra battery, 6 cell can hold 2 extra batteries, and so forth. this adds extra speed since there is more power with having extra batteries.

just dont go above 6 cells 7 if your risky and have some money to burn and always remember to use nimh or nicd better discharge rate and bearings.


ORRRRRR if you really wanna go fast (and i mean unimaginable blinding speeds) get a v2 board and like 5 lithium cells your xmod should literally go faster than a car

If you just want to keep it simple, with no lithiums or anything, I'd get bearings, soak them in some grease (wd40 or something) and then patt off so that their not too sticky to dirt and dust build-up,rechargable batteries and a few gpm parts off of ebay.. Some people say that the gpm doesnt help much other than helping the durability but I got some gpm knuckles and dogbones for my xmod a while back and it ran a bit smoother than before... Also you might want to switch your motors and see which one you like better for where your driving... Thats all I can think of for now,.. other than that I'd suggest upgrading to a 5 or 6 cell...

heres my list of suggestions
1) bearings definitely help. buy the radioshack metal bearing upgrade
2) make sure throttle is high
3) use rechargeable batteries - preferably Ni-MH
4) add an extra battery or two (5-6 cell). i dont personally support this upgrade on the CARS because there is not enough space and it gets heavy. run time is also lower. if u are willing to spend some money though, I recommend lithium packs.

ok few things...a honda civic xmod generation 1 doesnt turn to well anyways because it is a generation 1. If you are good with electrical circuits and such, then you can try the tight turns mod. If that doesn't do it, I would check servo...it may be messed up. other than that...don't know . good luck

Well to address the Queston, Its the switch on top of the controller, were the anttenia goes that says, "Thrt (something like that) Trim" Put that on high.

Yes do put the "6-Cell" on it and, if you can, get everything stated by me above, plus yea try what "bahasad" said too.
