did not know they were interchangeable. i wonder if the bodies would fit. anyways. whats a good site to purchase parts for mini Z's

There are lots of online retailers for miniZ stuff but the 2 I use the most are tinyrc.com and reflexracing.net.
MiniZ awd rims are useable but the d cut end where the rim fits to the axle needs a slight modification to fit the awd rim It's worth the mod because it gives you way more options for wheel choice |

Modding bodies to fit the Xmods chassis is simple usually. Mini-Zs use side clips, you'll need to cut those off and put a Xmods rear clip on the back and obviously a matching front clip to secure the body.
Mini-Z bodies are also lighter and they look better then Xmods. Plus, they have a decent selection of bodies |
