Update on situation:

Well i have been bombarded with homework and projects this past couple weeks. On top of that i injured my puttying finger. In other words: i haven't worked on the car what so ever. But i have been getting ideas. I am in the process of winding my first pattern wound motor.i got the first 2 layers down but the 3rd one isn't going on... I have to restart it though.

Starting this weekend i am going to try to work on it full force. I am healed enough to start working. I am in the process of ordering stuff too.(need some money and if the stuff will be in stock, along with funding my Micro dt project, a one of a kind:devil: not telling, some one knows though.)

Any paint design ideas besides what has been said? Any ideas appreciated

Just thought i'd update the situation and and any ideas on the secret i posted?

Thanks.

dude... you should totally paint it all black and put on side skirts and a sick spoiler... i love the ram air hood and a fake engine with a hinged hood would be cool... especially if you have a fake S.C. but it looks wicked awesome

Not all black. I already have the base color just details or something. I filled in the spolier holes for a reason.. It is a nightrider hood, almost ram air, but not quite. But thanks.

Night rider hood. I already have the body work planned out. I am not changing the body. Just paint design ideas. Maybe. I am still open to ideas. It doesn't have to be on a mustang, any paint ideas in general. I don't car what car it is on as long as there is a design.

I don't really know. lol. If something catches my eye i might do that. Keep them comming. Let me just say i am using a rattle can. So my color and designs are a little bit more limited but i can probably pull off one or 2 things.

Update:

As said before. I was gonna get an update.

No pics. Why no pics? because it is getting close to being finished and i want it to be a surprise(the final turnout) you may get some pics later this week before paint or final details. You will hopefully see it in this months cotm.

Body: needs to be sanded with the 600 and 1500grit
roof: same as body, needs to be sanded with 600/1500
Rear bumper: needs to be washed again, then decided if it is good enough for paint, then 600/1500
Hood: A rough spot or two. should be ready for the 600/1500 soon
Front lip: same as hood a couple imperfections then the 600/1500
Front bumper: Just needs the 600/1500 and of course the lip attached to it
Front grill/headlight thing: been done for a while now...

thanks.

Update:

the front bumper's lip has changed(little details on the side of it) It fits the design of the car better. Just need to wash it along with the hood, make sure everything is okay before i go ahead and attach it to the bumper. I see paint in the near future(hopefully). I have abanded one of my secrets for now. There was no point to it unless i can race it with some other people.

In short almost ready to paint.

Any last paint design ideas?

Thanks,
fieldfairy2

Love the body work over all, and the lip spoiler is sick! Not feelin' the hood, looks too tall imo, but it's a good looking hood.

Very nice body work man!

Sarcasm, it must blow your mind.

No use putting a dead racing series that has a more iconic pony car with the same name all over the side of the Saleen Mustang. And if I recall right, AAR was with the Cuda.

Your all over the place with brand names.

Thanks, the hood is is actually not that tall, it is flush in the back of the hood and stick up like 5mm in the front, but i understand. lol As for the lip spoiler, not really a lip spoiler just a lip but i understand why. It takes time and practice. I want the final product to be a surprise. Just need to get the color perfect. Noticed tamiya had a better/closer looking shade of the color i want, so i am going to see if my lhs has it if not if they can order it for me.

Update:
Everything has been sanded with the 600 but the hood and front bumper need more work. The front lip is mounted on the front bumper. And undergoing some new designs. I am changing it a little bit, so the front lip and the front bumper blend together. when i attached the front lip to the bumper it was wider so it stuck out. It is now getting fixed. As for every thing else, just needs sanding. As of the 45t pattern wound motor, the first pole went wrong on the 3rd layer so i haven't touched it since, yet.

Well i am making some headway on my next project:
Operation Black Widow.
It is a micro dt project.

Thanks,
fieldfairy2

Did you have to adjust the ST.Range on your controller with the long servo arm?
Just wondering since mine steer way too much and jumps off the tierod so I had to lower it.
