My new bumblebee camaro project (56K suicide)

alright, some of you may have seen that i put my 2 tone black and silver camaro body up for sale recently, and it has been sold and shipped out already.

the reason for selling that body was because i got tired of the paint job and thought i really could have done better, so now, i am.

i got a brand new unscathed bumblebee body from my friend Kaze in a little trade we did and i got to work on it as soon as it came out of the package

i had the plans laid out in my head before i even got the body, and i found this awesome site that this guy has rendered all kinda of different concept camaros with various modifications and paint jobs

i still have more tape work to do, but after it's all ready, its being shipped to another friend of mine, SkysTheLimit, for the blue paint and a couple details. i would do the blue paint myself, but STL has an amazing shade of blue that is an airbrush paint, and i dont have an airbrush.

the chassis and wheels are the same as they were with the old body, it still has underglow and blue calipers (will be repainted the new blue) and Rays wheels with black painted spokes

What color blue are you using? A candy blue would be *****in' on top the silver.

Texan you've seen STLR's Forum right? he made that corvette in an Aniversary blue?, Noturday's gonna ship that body to him to do that blue. It's kinda funny how much that bodies gonna travel, I shipped it from Jersey to Texas, now its gonna come back to Jersey, then back to Texas lol...

nope, i'm not doin it either of those ways. im doin it the Noturday way (can i trademark that phrase? hahaha)

@ Tex - like Kaze said, its gonna be that amazing blue that STL did on his commemorative edition edition blue corvette. i may have to wait till i move into my apartment now to finish the taping though. i dont think im gonna get it all done tmrw, especially since i'll be packing to leave monday.

looks sweet man, I'm doing another camaro myself right now. looks sweet so far, can't wait till its done. blue sounds good, i might have to check that forum too see it.

But the paint and body was all GM design... Colors came from the Bumblebee character. Used the prototypes's body molds even.

alright guys, it took me a while cuz i just moved into an apt with some friends, but i finally got all the taping done, now the rest of the paint is up to STL, i cant wait to get this thing all done up right

thanks guys, i would appreciate it if you wouldnt give suggestions though, i already know every detail of what i am going to do to this car, and have had the plans for way too long to change anything now.

@ KITT - no, i am falling away from the xmods hobby and getting into 1/10 scale r/c, this will be one of my final projects, which is why i'm making it look so good, it has to compete with the chevelle project haha
