I think I'll start with the radio shack upgrade kit. This way I can get the different gears with it. Then, when I save up for some lyths or lipos, I will upgrade to an even better engine...

But why woud you spend 16 bucks on a RS stage 2 that only goes about 22mph tops while you could get this http://www.undergroundxmods.com/cata...b2f7b839908bd1 for only $34.95 plus $4 for the pinions and hit the 30+ mph ??

And yes I meant the X1 super Speed not the X2 lightspeed; sry about that

cause that's over twice the price and I just bought another $80 in parts. That's ontop of the $70 that I spent when I first got the thing (truck, 4wd, and lift kit).

I have to draw the line somewhere...

Besides, I don't care about top speed. I want crazy torque so this thing will climb a wall...

OK, I got my sealed bearings, alloy front knuckles and a few other goodies installed in the truck today, and wow!!! No more wheel slop and much faster!!! And the thing will climb obstacles now...

I still want more torque, but I'm gonna save up for a better battery system before I replace the motor again...
