i sand it.
well, when it's abotu hald dry, bondo can be carved with an exacto to get a rough shape. then sandpaper takes care of the final shaping and smoothing. it's NEVER smooth when you first apply it.

update: reference color sprayed, more body filling needed to smooth it out
made add on bits like the splitter and side rockers
painted wheels black as well

Ya the left rear wheel arc seems like it could use some sanding where it attaches to the body, and some spots look a bit bumpy but the rear bumper is really nice good job

Rear arch and front grill area needs work.
