Default Help me out. Making xmod bodies.

So, Ive noticed a few people have taken bodies such as Mini-Z bodies and made them to fit xmod bodies. I was wondering how i can make a front clip mount for them or exactly what it takes to fit.

try to find one that fits perfectly or close the the body you're trying, or make a custom one out of plastic or metal.

Well the front clip will work on Evo cars. But the rear clip wont work, so use velcro on the sides.

I have allways used legos to mount the rear clip and then plastic from a xmod box for the front clip. It works out very well for me. I believe i have some pics of how i mounted my rx7 in my photobucket so ill check and let me know if you wanna see the pics for reference

Thanks NS350

I use balsa wood to make a prototype since its easy to cut fast then I use that template to cut a final piece out of plastic.
