Default - Project Fairlady -

Another new project from me, this time is the Datsun 240Z! Can anybody guess what's the plan for this one?

Btw, it was a pain in the butt to take off the body piece, R246 not only melt the back of the parts to the body, but they also added glue to it, which make it really hard to take them off! But I guess it is a good thing if anyone will be race with them.

I started with lowering the ride height, and sand down a few rough spot on the body.

I cracked the body while trying to pop off the side clip, but that's nothing but a little glue can't fix.

Shave off the inside of the fenders to give the wheels more clearance.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Update: I'm hoping by the end of this post, someone will know what I'm going to turn this 240Z into. Now I'll let the pics speak for itself.

Thanks you.

Update: Adding some details to the rear fender flares...

But I'm not happy with the bolts, so I take out some model kit part trees and melt them down.

Then cut them to size.

And glue them to the fender flare.
